Two Quilts I Just Finished Quilting

Thimbleweeds Outdoor Quilt Show. Rio Rancho,New Mexico


This was a great  outdoor Quilt Show,
Over 200 Quilts by the local Quilters.
Veteran's Memorial Park,
At the Rio Rancho Library.

Small Quilts.
As we were walking around the Quilt show Dick ran into
a Classmate from Sandia High Class of 1961, and we found out about the class reunion this April.

Applique Quilt.

It was a nice sunny day with the Quilts waving in the breeze.

Balloons over New Mexico is a recurrent theme.

As were the Southwestern Designs, also called Mola Stories.
This Quilt shows the Bear and the Bear Claw.

Thimbelweeds Miniature Quilt Show.

Thimbleweeds Miniature Quilt show at the

The show runs though April.
The show has many and various Quilts.
Thimbleweeds Raffle Quilt.
The Proceeds go to several charities.
The show is open the regular Libary hours.

The Quilt Hanger has a finished frame which is screwed into the wall.
