DID YOU KNOW?

Did you ever notice when you pick out fabrics or threads the ones you pick up are usually the colors that you are wearing??

Small butter or cream cheese containers are perfect for storing pins. If you glue some batting to the bottom of the lid it will also serve as a pin cushion.

Laundry detergent boxes are perfect for storing quilting magazines. They are sturdy and usually just the right width to keep them neat and organized.

To keep your thimble from coming off your finger, blow into it before you put it on. The moisture from your hot breath will create a suction and make it stick!

One side of the needle has a larger opening than the other. If you are having trouble threading it turn the needle around and try threading it from the other side.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Have a wonderful day with family and friends.

I am still in the middle of moving. Had my home sold but at closing they backed out so now my home is back on the market.

So all of my things are in storage, and I am living with my friend, paying for house, storage and living out of box's. So there is not any Quilting going on. I have a new address for now it is: Shirley Barter 1532 Jewett NE Albuquerque,NM.87112. Please call my cell phone if you need me.its the 281 number.

The weather here is cooled 29 and snowy so I will be spending most of my time in the mountains till my house sells, then hopefully moving again, Then back to Quilting again.
