The Finished WholeCloth Quilt.

I took a little time to work on this wholecloth quilt I designed a few years back in a class with Karen McTavish. She is SUCH a fun quilter and so talented! She brought 100's of stencils for us to use during class and we had several hours to design and mark our quilts. I had a blast.
Once I got home, I was knee-deep in customer quilts (for years) and only recently forced myself to work on something just for me. I decided that now was the time to dig that wholecloth out and quilt it.
Scary but fun, with lots of hard work.
Here's a few pictures. I just love how it turned out. I'm entering it in the Santa Fa Fiber Arts Fiesta keeping my fingers crossed that it gets accepted. Wish me luck!

I just finished my first wholecloth quilt. Tell me what you think.

Still need to soak, then bind.

Close up of corner.
Very small daisies for the back ground.

       Close up of center.
Close up of side.
You can see how small everything is.
Should I enter it in the Santa Fe Fiber arts show?

You've done a fabulous job, Shirley! Can't wait to see it in person. Will you bring it in February??
